To take part in the game, the participant must predict the score(s) of the match(es) of their choice during the official “UEFA EURO 2024” competition. The tipsters will be ranked and updated after each match.
The points awarded to each participant will be as follows:
5 points if the participant predicted the correct result
2 points if the participant predicted the correct goal difference
1 point if the participant predicted the correct winner (including draws)
The score used is the one at the end of the match, including any extra time but excluding any penalty shoot outs at the end of extra time.
For example, let’s say the Belgium-Germany match ends with Belgium winning 3-1.
Marie predicted Belgium 2 Germany 0. She got the wrong score but the right goal difference and so she wins 2 points.
James predicted Belgium 0 Germany 2. He didn’t get the right score, the right goal difference, or the right winner, so he wins 0 points.
Jo predicted Belgium 3 Germany 1. He predicted the correct score and wins 5 points.
Giorgio predicted Belgium 5 Germany 0. He didn't get the right score or the right goal difference, but he did pick the right winner, so he wins 1 point.
